Shimon Hoshino is a Japanese multidisciplinary artist based in Japan. Working across sound, fragrance, and visual art, his practice explores the relationship between nature, human perception, and invisible sensory experiences.

Educated in French literature at Keio University, with formative years spent in France and the United States, his work draws on diverse cultural perspectives.

Rooted in the philosophy of invisible design, his practice is deeply influenced by the ocean and his daily experience of surfing, translating natural rhythms and atmospheres into music, scent, and visual expression.

In 2026, he performed at MONA in Tasmania, Australia, and recorded new works at Frying Pan Studios.
